Spring 2023 is when I moved from California to Portland. For years it had a been a dream, one I'd wistfully think about - often. After some life shifts I finally made the call to make it happen, and I was forever changed.
My life fell into a rhythm that I hadn't anticipated. Seasons and a new found appreciation for the sun that only a UV spoiled girl from Southern California could understand.
The joy of spring, the play in summer when the days are long and the low hum of winter. Portland and its surrounding landscape brought me back to myself in a way that is hard to describe. I am forever grateful to this place and I hope to capture it for the rest of my days.
