Documentary & fine art photography

My life and my career has taken many forms, but no matter the door I walk through there has always been a camera in my hand.

It’s this non-linear path that makes me great at what I do. I am an adventure photographer but I’m also an adventurer, yes I tell stories about wine but I’m also a winemaker. My work centers around community because its a core value of my own life. Story hides in the space that experience and curiosity meet and I know how to find and capture it.

My true passion and eye for imagery centers around the quiet moments, the ones we often forget. In that space of in-between is where we are the most authentic. It is those moments that capture a feeling, and they are timeless - and that’s what I do, I capture the honest and quiet moments of the in-between.

"My aim is to create timeless images that are lived in and authentic. I want to make you feel seen."

Born and raised in Southern California and now living in Portland Oregon, Elisabeth is a documentary photographer whose passions and values shine through her work -

Integrity, courage, humor, nature and community - her work is rooted in her values and it is where her passion for capturing the in-between moments of life stems from. The stillness of moments before the action starts, meals and conversations shared after the summit is where most of life is lived, and she savors in capturing that vulnerable tenderness.

A curious adventurer with big plans, Elisabeth is a mixture of grit and humor who adapts to to the occasion and genuinely cherishes what she does. With a borderline obsessive love of backpacking and travel she is dedicated to growth and pushing the limits of her skill and craft. When she’s not on a shoot you can find her with her friends hiking to a river swim, painting, reading or most likely, on a trail in Forest Park running to the sound of Noah Kahan.
